It’s always a good idea to go to Greenwich. I love exploring the little streets, looking at the neat little shops and having a coffee in one of the tiny independent coffee shops. Of course, a walk in the park up the hill to the Royal Observatory is great and the reward – the view – is priceless. I have been there many times but it wasn’t until recently that I discovered the Painted Hall and the Chapel at the Old Royal Naval College and that I finally paid a visit to the Queen’s House. So next time you’re there ditch the classic tourist programme for something slightly different. I promise, it’s going to be worth it.
